At Fort Coldheart, Lieutenant Kara Miller sent Danja to report to Captain Brugar Talonshins. The Captain introduced Danja to Asha Birchwane, a female half-elf scout. Talonshins had ordered a shipment of scrolls from Evanston, but goblin bandits ambushed the courier on the road earlier in the morning. Danja and Asha were sent to track the goblins and retrieve the scrolls.

The heroes found the trail and snuck up on a goblin (Keto) and his mastiff (Blue Fang) while the goblin was setting a trap. Danja subdued Keto and negotiated for his cooperation. Keto agreed to help in exchange for healing and Danja's aid in becoming the new leader of his small warband. The heroes used Keto to trick the warband's sentry (Tryn) away from his post. Then they used Keto to lure the remaining goblins out of their cave, including the big leader Moonto. Danja, Asha, Keto, and Blue Fang subdued the last of the goblins. Again, Danja offered mercy, keeping all the goblins alive and offering them work at the fort. She and Asha gave the warband some provisions, before returning to the fort, taking along Keto, Moonto, and the reclaimed scrolls.
