The Gray Chamber is an order dedicated to studying and cataloguing the paranormal. The order includes many Reverents, most of whom view the work as helping arm the faithful with knowledge of evil. However, the order is ostensibly separate from the Church.
Members range from aristocrats who dabble in collecting or donating rare objects, book, and other curiosities, to scholars who write or teach about the Gray Chamber's discoveries, to explorers, archaelogists, and other adventurers who venture into the dark and wild corners of Oban.
The Crusaders of the Dawn are frequent allies with the Gray Chamber, for the Crusaders long ago recognized the utility of knowing their foes.
