At the northwestern corner of the Empire lies the Sorrows. Vast dwarven ruins rise from the slopes of the Stone Mountains and run deep into the rock. According to legend, this is the ancestral homeland of the Stonejaw Clan. However, the ruins are overrun by monsters, including numerous undead. Officially, the Stone Mountains province is part of the Empire, but in practice the region is ungoverned.
